We stepped away from the traditional voxel-based approach for creating lattices, to generate bone-like (trabecular) structures that are adjusted to withstand simulated tensile and compression stresses.

Metal Additive Manufacturing, like any other manufacturing process, has limitations and constraints.
We constructed an evolutionary method that iteratively refined so-called "liquid" supporting structures to provide adequate support for overhanging areas in the presented hydraulic manifold.
